1. Who We Are

Tefarab AI develops DownMe, Akashbarta (আকাশবার্তা), Audio Seeker, SmartBoard, FocusFlow, and other projects listed on our website. Each app has a dedicated privacy page linked above.

The sections below detail Audio Seeker as our reference offline audio player. For other apps, use their specific policy documents.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 App Preferences (Local Only)

Audio Seeker stores your preferences only on your device using Android's local storage (SharedPreferences and Room database). This includes:

• Equalizer settings and presets you configure
• Sleep timer preferences
• Playback speed settings
• Songs you have marked as liked
• Play count and recently played history
• Any ID3 tag edits you make within the app

None of this data leaves your device. It is never transmitted to any server, including ours.

2.2 Crash Reports (If Enabled by Device)

If your Android device is configured to send crash reports to Google, minimal crash data (stack traces) may be sent via the Android platform's standard crash reporting. This is controlled by your device settings, not by our app. We do not operate our own crash reporting servers.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your location or GPS data
• Your music files, audio content, or metadata about what you listen to
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, etc.)
• Usage analytics or behavioural tracking data
• Any data from your contacts, camera, or microphone
• Financial information of any kind

We do not display advertisements. We do not share any data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Local Storage & Permissions

Audio Seeker requests the following Android permissions:

• READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (Android 13+) / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (older devices) — Required to scan and play audio files from your device storage. No files are uploaded or transmitted.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK — Required to continue playing music while the app is in the background and to show playback controls in your notification shade.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required to display the music player notification on Android 13 and above.
• INTERNET — Used only for optional online features such as update checks or support links. Core local playback works offline.

All permissions are used only for their stated purpose. The app will request permissions at the point they are needed and explain why.

5. Third-Party Services

Audio Seeker uses the following third-party libraries and services:

• AndroidX Media3 / ExoPlayer (Google) — Local audio playback engine. Processes audio files locally only.
• Glide (bumptech) — Loads album art from your device's MediaStore. No network requests for local files.

6. Children's Privacy

Audio Seeker is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, most data subject requests (such as access, deletion, or portability) can be fulfilled directly by you through the app or your device settings:

• Delete app data: Go to Android Settings → Apps → Audio Seeker → Clear Data.
• Revoke permissions: Go to Android Settings → Apps → Audio Seeker → Permissions.
• Uninstall the app: Completely removes all locally stored data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and notify users through the app listing or official channels. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
