2. Information Processed

URLs you provide — Links pasted in the app or shared from other apps (e.g. YouTube) to start a download.
Download metadata — Title, format, quality, progress, and file paths stored locally in a Room database.
Files on device — Saved media under Movies/DownMe and Music/DownMe (and gallery-visible locations on supported Android versions).
App preferences — Default quality and UI settings stored with DataStore on your device.

3. What We Do Not Do

DownMe is built as a free app with no ads in the product description.
We do not require an account to use core download features.

4. Permissions

DownMe may request storage or media access so downloads can be saved and shown in your library. Notifications may be used to show download progress. Exact permissions depend on your Android version.

5. Third-Party Content

DownMe is for personal use only. You must respect copyright and each platform’s terms of service. Tefarab AI does not host the videos you download; processing uses on-device libraries (including yt-dlp and FFmpeg components bundled for Android).

6. Children

DownMe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
